Browsing and playing
You can browse Berserk Studios and play Defend the Palace without an account. Play links open the game directly. The studio website does not embed social feeds or advertising pixels.
Berserk Account
Optional sign-in is handled by Supabase Authentication and the provider you choose. They process your identity and email to authenticate you. Google sign-in is available when configured; Facebook requires its provider approval and activation. We do not request your messages, contacts or social posts.
Your chosen player name, creature avatar and cover artwork are saved with your account identifier. Submitted Defend the Palace scores are associated with that account. Signed-in runs automatically save achievement progress and defeated-creature counts. Publishing a leaderboard score is a separate choice. Your email is not displayed on the leaderboard. Keep personal information out of your public player name.
Browser storage
Supabase manages the sign-in session in your browser’s local storage. The studio and game can connect through a secure account window; session tokens are never put into URLs. You can sign out or remove browser data through your browser settings. Clearing browser data does not delete your stored profile or submitted scores.
Request account or data removal
Email hello@berserkstudios.io with the subject “Berserk Account data removal.” Include your public player name and which sign-in service you used. We may ask you to confirm account ownership. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or session tokens.
Game data
Defend the Palace has its own aggregate game counters, offline cache and optional community leaderboard. See the game’s privacy information for details. Existing ChatGPT game accounts continue to use the hosting platform’s authentication.
Service providers
Our websites use Sites hosting and Supabase Authentication. Those services and your selected sign-in provider process technical request data under their own policies.
